Teacher Clothing Slump

If I've said it once, I've said it one hundred times.

"I did not become a teacher for the dress code."

My legs look and feel better in my favorite worn out pair of blue jeans.  I move more comfortably in my favorite old t-shirt...probably a George Strait concert tee.  My feet are more comfortable bare, or in my broken in old boots.  I long for spring to wear these things more and to be outside.  I can hardly wait to get married and move back to the country and out of this apartment.

Lately I've been wearing the basic 5 outfits practically every week.  I've gone boring in my wardrobe.  It's true.

Doing laundry at Dustin's house means that I'm prone to forget things there.  A couple of weeks ago I had to turn around after supper at his parent's to go get my clothes.  This week, I didn't think of them until I was almost home.  Opps.

Doing that forced me to put together a different outfit for today.  I didn't have my North Face or my black fleece to throw on either.  I had to settle for a cardigan only.  I did get comments on my cute top underneath my cardigan though!

I want to wear my dresses.  I want to wear skirts.  I want to go shopping.

Lately, life has been about as random as this blog happens to be...
